I started my journey with continuous improvement (CI) more than 20 years ago. As a practitioner of CI methodologies, I've changed my mindset, developed new habits and established different behaviors. All have enabled me to move from dreaming to doing.
This same mindset led me to found #RootCauseRacism®, a global movement to eradicate racism through the use of CI methodologies, foundational racial equity training and anti-racism action. We need a different way of thinking and something we can apply to our everyday lives, both personally and professionally, to address and stamp out rampant racism globally. This is how we will create sustainable change.
I currently work with C-suite and organizational leaders who have a track record of investing in social and environmental justice and who are ready to take their work to the next level. My proven Strategic Visioning Experience™ and 4D Improvement Cycle™ enable organizations to mobilize business strategies and vision and turn them into executable and measurable action plans that result in increased employee engagement and thriving, inclusive cultures. This process involves working with executives to make the connection between strategic planning, strategic visioning and diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA).
As a speaker, I seek to engage, educate and empower audiences to connect with their purpose, thrive in corporate America and put diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility in action through Lean methodologies.
Outside of consulting and speaking, you’ll usually find me serving the global community through my sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®; volunteering at my church - Light of the World Christian Church; or spending time with my family and close friends.
